You do, it's on beIN Sport USA. Live coverage of Superbike and Supersport races. with world feed commentary.

Niccolo Canepa will be riding a third Alstare Ducati at Donington next weekend as a wildcard, and Aprilia have lodged another protest to try and get Tom Sykes' podium finish at Monza rescinded.

Liberty Racing have withdrawn from the championship. That didn't take long. Bet Mark Aitchison wishes he'd listened to the cynics now.

What a farce. Kind of expected that, though.

Tom Sykes leading the way at Donington before Superpole. Leon Haslam has put in a valiant effort to qualify 14th with a still badly injured leg.

And a particularly exciting prospect for Imola is being rumoured: Nori Haga wildcarding on a Grillini BMW. Apparently he tested it this week and will be racing it for Imola only. It'd be interesting to see what someone as talented as Haga could do in a traditionally uncompetitive team. His recent BSB efforts hardly lived up to expectations, I wonder if a WSBK wildcard entry would end the same way.

Essentially only on DirecTV and Comcast. Time Warner sort of has it apparently. Looks like a decent channel too.

It is on FIOS as well, but you have to pay extra for the package that includes beIN Sport.

Announced today: 3 yearly updates to the WSB regulations to cut costs, beginning in 2014 with a maximum number of engines to be used in a season, and a limit of the cost of certain components (brakes, suspension etc.).

I don't think I like the way this is going. Just restrict the use of electronics and draw up a set of unified Superbike regulations in conjunction with the major national championships. BSB is thriving right now, and no single manufacturer is running away with it. Ezpeleta needs to look at what they're doing instead of crippling the World Championship out of spite.

FFS Dorna.

They do this on purpose to make MotoGP look good...

Today's qualifying at Portimao was decided by the smallest margin in Superbike history: 0.001 seconds (also happened at Kyalami in 2009).

Well of course. MotoGP is meant to be the premier class. As it stands WSBKs are only a couple of seconds away from the top times in MotoGP. They produce more HP as they can rebuild engines as they please. Doing away with electronics would be the best thing.

A good race for once. :) I quite like this circuit, with its considerable elevation changes and switchbacks.
