Ducati is having less fuel after their Qatar race :slaphead:

Well that's the rules they signed up to. Ducati were allowed an advantage (softer tyres plus more fuel to use) but should they perform to a certain level then those advantages would be withdrawn. Now Ducati will be on an even level to Yamaha and Honda.

Hopefully it doesn't affect them too much.

Glad they didn't go for some second rang Japanese driver.

Aoyama is that rider

It will affect them but to what extent is the question. The drop is from 24 to 22 litres. They'll have to run a little leaner through the races, but I'm sure they'll have factored this scenario into their pre-season testing program. This only affects the works team so the Avintia bikes are still allowed the additional 2 litre usage.

They ran all least season with the 24 liter allowance but never used more than 22 in a race and they have said this previously any decrease will not affect them.

Let's hope that. We have seen their pace wasn't just because of the ultra soft tyres, and now if the fuel is alright we could have a 3 way manufacturer fight again.

From what I heard the 2 liters of fuel they lose for the Qatar result doesnt bother Ducati at all, so I'm guessing they already get the milage, they must have known that a decent result was on the cards and would be silly to not have prepared.
Losing the soft tyres would be a blow for Qual, but race day I think it even works in favour of them, by being able to use the harder available rear, the GP14 used to fade every race due to tyre's (among other things) so being able to slap the harder rear in if needed should be seen as a bonus for Sundays.
Worst case for them is if they lose the oppertunity to develope the bike thru the season.

Antonelli was lucky to escape serious injury there. He crashed, started to run towards his bike and Ono crashed at the same place, and Ono's bike nearly slew-footed Antonelli.

Another lucky escape, Oliveira crashes in the S curves and he goes across the track with his bike.

Moto2 started. Threat of rain hanging.

Kent completely dominated Moto3 race and won by several seconds.

"Romano Fenati got 3 penalty points for displaying agressive behaviour and poor sportmanship towards Niklas Ajo and will therefore start the Argentina race from the last slot on the grid having reached a total of 4 penalty points."

A really bad behaviour. Did he somehow "turn off" Ajo's Bike?

Fenati started 34th and arrived 8th, though.
