Last week started with an overwhelming nostalgia trip, continued with some pretty great racing thanks to the low downforce package, and like most NASCAR races this season, ended with soul-crushing disappointment by way of a bullshit caution. And a horse. This week returns us to the Ken Squier-less monotony of the present day. Also, last race before the Chase, so here's your handy clinch scenario list.

Sprint Cup: Federated Auto Parts 400 Entry List
Xfinity: Virginia 529 College Savings 250 Entry List

Also this week: K&N Pro East @ Richmond and Whelen Euro Series @ Magione (on FansChoice.tv). Whelen All-American Series action at Tuscon, Magic Valley, and Lake County will be streamed on Saturday.

Hope the Cup/Xfinity races are decent, but I don't have my hopes up.

Mexico Series also racing this weekend at Potosino. Race should be live streamed (I think livestream.com will have it) as well as televised on NBC Universo in the USA

I was planning on going to the K&N race tonight but the forecast isn't looking so good. With a chance of rain on Saturday I'm sure they'll really want to get this race in tonight. I just wish I knew whether they'd make it up tomorrow or Sunday in the event they can't get it in tonight.

The fall race gets postponed so many times that they should just move the damn thing to Sunday afternoon permanently.

there was talk of Richmond moving one of the races to a Sunday afternoon this spring after the rainout in April.

I hope they do that. It would be nice to have 1 day and 1 night.

Guess what?? 54 and 22 on the front row of the Xfinity race....real exciting. Just once this year I'd like to see those two cars fuckin' wipe each other out.

The Xfinity race exists only in the mind of Brian France. Which explains why it's so shitty these days.
