I've decided to make it to the Springfield race. Went three years ago, turned out to be the only dirt race I went to that year as Du Quoin was rained out. Hopefully I can do both this year!

Hopefully the track security guys aren't dicks this time around, unlike the last time we went there...

See Kyle stomp the Trucks and Xfinity guys? No thanks. Cup cars suck if you hadn't realized that. Gonna be another pissed off weekend for everyone. Go do something this weekend.

While the Truck and Xfinity races have a good chance to be sore fests, I still got some hope for at least 1 of the races this week (cough Modifieds cough). Plus last year's Xfinity race wasn't that bad at the end and the Cup races haven't been as terrible the last 2 or 3 years there (alot better since the first few years with the progressive banking, although it's going to suck more this year with the tapered spacer requiring more momentum so it will be a extreme high line fest), as long as NASCAR doesn't pull something stupid in race control again like the last 2 spring races. I think it will be okay.

I live here. Only 389 days till that Battle at Bristol between Tennessee and Virginia Tech.

Sorry, but this whole area, that's all they care about when Bristol Motor Speedway is mentioned.

Going to have to tape the ARCA race. Be at Pocono for the Indycars.

The thought of the nonstop media ass-kissing if/when Kyle surpasses the 200-win mark makes me nauseous.

The biggest news of the weekend is the revelation that Hermie Sadler is the third person in his family named Hermie Sadler. Who knew.

Even more intriguing is, who goes by the name Hermie?

Post subject:  Re: REAL RACIN' (Bristol Night Race, Springfield)

I think that means that car is 44th in owner points.
