I hate that they are racing at chicago for a non companion race. They could have used this weekend to go to a good track.

It's insane isn't it? Could have moved some stuff around to have Xfinity and trucks racing at Iowa together one weekend and then together at Gateway on another.

I hate how bunched together the races at Iowa are. An Xfinity race in May, Trucks in June, and another Xfinity race on the first of August, which is only two weeks after the Indycar race there. Considering most locals and Iowa natives in general can't afford to go to every race in that short timeframe, it's a recipe for dwindling attendance across the board.

(Which, ironically, NASCAR can use as reasoning for why Iowa will never get a Cup date. Fuckers.)

Iowa was originally wanting the IndyCar race on this weekend I think but the deal with Toronto kinda of messed that up.

Wish this weekend's races were at a road course or a short track.

Well the one thing Iowa has going for it is that it's less than a 4 hour drive from Kansas City, Des Moines, and Omaha. So that's not too big of an ordeal for people in those cities to go several times a year if they so desire. Among those three metropolitan areas alone, that's about 3 million people within a very reasonable driving distance.

Mr. Ugly Face Ugly Cowboy Hat Man had to be the one douche who decided that an off weekend for the Cup series was a good time to try to go ruin the Xfinity party.

A few rookies in fast cars this weekend. Maybe he'll trip over one of them on a restart or something.

Ross lost in in 3-4, was able to keep it off the wall but killed a set of tires.

Been pretty uneventful since then. Cameron Hayley has himself a rocket tonight.

Or not. Crafton and John Hunter Nemechek have caught up with him. Crafton now leads the race.

Looks like there will be only 8 to 12 trucks on the lead lap at the finish

His night went to shit in about five minutes. Catastrophic green flag pit stop and now a spin.
