I'm hoping that the entire race is shown in side by side fashion with the race muted on the split screen while on the other side is repeats of Mashed Potatoes and Mac N Cheese. Would be the capper to this wonderful season we're having. |

I used to look forward to the plate races weeks and sometime a few months in advance. They would be the highlight of my race watching year. Out of curiosity, I looked at the schedule about a week ago, saw Daytona and thought: "Neat..." |

It's true, the entire facility is going to receive an upgrade next year after the 500/Bike races, they're adding a hotel, casino etc. etc. and ripping out the main grandstands and replacing them, I thought you guys already knew otherwise I'd have posted it already  It is a multi-year project though, so I don't know if the moving the race to Miami bit is true, but considering what they're going to do to the place, it's doubtful they'll have it race ready in 4 months. Seriously though, I thought gambling was illegal in Florida? (re the casino bit). |
