If they don't put plates on the cars this weekend, I will be shocked. |

nah they won't, they're only doing the 215+ entering the corners, in the corners they're dropping to usual speeds. |

Yup, I know the feeling. @ Chris A, they were about 15mph above pre-pave in the corners during the tests, 180vs165 before. All Goodyear have to do is harden up the tyre a bit and they can curb those speeds without even touching the fuel injection. |

That road course is actually not new at all - it's been there for quite a while, just hasn't been used. |

Just heard a bit of a segment with Elliott Sadler on Sirius Speedway. He and his team seem fairly confident the Nationwide race will be very reminiscent of superspeedway racing. Could be very interesting. |

Could be very interesting. I expect it definitely out of the trucks. They already did run like a superspeedway even before the repave. That'll be the race to watch whenever they get there. |

I got tickets to the Nationwide race...I'm desperately trying to find someone to take me to the ARCA race. I want to see my first flip and I figure that's the best bet. |

I'll tune in for the truck race, the superspeedway style racing is worth watching. |

Quote: Raines in the #10 at Michigan: Tony Raines is getting a second chance to drive for Tommy Baldwin Racing. Team officials confirmed Tuesday that Raines will be replacing David Reutimann in the #10 Chevy for Sunday's Quicken Loans 400 at Michigan International Speedway. Raines climbed into the #36 Chevrolet at Pocono when Kurt Busch's one-race suspension created a NASCAR version of musical chairs. With Reutimann subbing for Busch, Dave Blaney moved to the #10. However, with Busch returning to Phoenix Racing, some changes to the lineup at TBR had to be made. "We had a plan with Reutimann driving for the #51," team spokesman Heather Lumpp said. "We are sticking with our plan, and Reutimann will be back in the #10 at Kentucky." Where that leaves Reutimann -- who has attempted to make every race this season -- is unclear. He's driven three times for [#93 and #73] BK Racing in 2012, but a team spokesman said there are currently no plans to add a third car to the entry list this weekend.(NASCAR.com)(6-13-20102) Wonder if Reutimann thought he had a chance at the 51? |
