With Kansas in the rear-view mirror (and DEGA not too far in the distance), the tour rolls on to the tricky D-shaped Richmond bullring. And ARCA is back after a month-long break, as they head off to Salem. Entry Lists: Sprint Cup Nationwide |

http://www.arcaracing.com/schedule.php? ... ry#details 35 cars w/ drivers entered for Salem, three additional cars are still listed with Driver "TBA". There is one driver without a car as well. Should be good, glad ARCA's finally getting full fields on short tracks again. |

16-18 full time drivers in ARCA this season, I believe. |

I'd say maybe 10, 16-18 would be a bit of a stretch. There are some guys who are running 15-18 races though. A few aren't old enough to run the superspeedways. |

A storyline the TV crew may not be aware of is two of the Langley Speedway regulars, CE Falk and Greg Edwards, have a bit of a rivalry going on this year. In the first two races they have raced each other pretty rough and neither is happy with the other. We'll see if any animosity carries over into the Late Model race tonight, especially since both are starting near the front. |

Part of me in intrigued by that, but another part of me doesn't want to see that kind of stuff get out of hand at a charity race. I think the K&N series might want to have a good look at their tire changing rules. I assume it's a matter of saving money, but that's at least 3-4 times tonight drivers have had a tire go down after either previous spins or previous contact. Two of them wound up pounding the wall as a result as well. |
