We just got a shot of the SAFER barrier. Shape wise it was perfectly fine. It was just paint work damage. You are right.

This reminds me of the Indycar race at vegas... wait 2 hours to fix the fence and wall and repair the track to find out.. oh we're not racing anymore. Whoever said this one is going to have the most anti-climactic finish ever was right.

Avgas is only 100 octane gasoline, its flashpoint is below 32F. Jet-A is pretty much diesel you can run Jet in a diesel car it just burns a bit hotter and its flashpoint is above 100F.

I was wondering, after the Truck in the fence on Friday, and the entire top 10 wrecking out of turn 4 on Saturday, how the ending of the 500 was going to top that.

I didn't anticipate this.
