I highly doubt I will watch. Maybe the last 10 laps or so just to see if NASCAR throws a GWC. |

The Modified race at Bristol last year was a very exciting race with great racing up front the entire way. I hope this year's race is just as good as last year. |

If they were determined to redo Bristol with progressive banking, why couldn't they have made it more like Salem Speedway? Really uneven banking, one end of the track completely different than the other, still mostly one-groove so people get into long battles where slower cars hold up trains of faster cars, people start getting impatient, they start using the chrome horn to make their way through traffic... THAT's good stuff. This run-anywhere-you-want-on-the-track crap we get now is NOT good for a track as fast as Bristol. It works at somewhere flatter like Loudon or Irwindale, but not here. |

1st caution, Austin Pack and Todd Szegedy make contact and spin, McDonald and Tomaino also collected, Tomaino is probably done. |

2nd caution, Andy Petree slides up into Ron Yuhas, Jason Myers, Flemke, and Hemric collected. Civali leads over Newman. |

3rd caution: Emerling spins 4th caution: Lajoie spins and hits the wall head on, looked like he cut a right rear tire, Brunnhoelzl, Pitkat, and Chew collected. Red flag to fix the SAFER barrier |

They'll start as many street stocks as they can. In today's crap economy, it's only like 65-70 cars usually, but I was there when they started 100 cars a few years ago. 100 fucking cars! |

So what's the deal with the Wednesday night racing this week at Bristol? what runs on the Thursday evening instead of the Trucks/Mods? Good mod race btw, first one I've ever watched, much better than the NW/SC will be I bet... |

I think because the pits are so tight they want the Mod and Truck teams out before the NW and Cup teams come in. |
