Bruton should put in place the road setup he has for Charlotte. A 6 interchangable lane road leading to and away from the track. It's great for race traffic and completely useless the rest of the year. Perfect for Kentucky.

Not sure how well that would work, but it might help.


CSX has trackage through Sparta, but I doubt you'd see any Amtrak or charter trains doing raceday commuter runs. The last train related magazine I read(from '91) said that CSX wanted $25 million in insurance coverage for any special passenger trains(I guess Amtrak has a different deal). I can only guess that price has gone up since then. There aren't any sidings nearby to park the trains during the race, either.
