When I first read about this event I lost interest as soon as I read PASS was running it.
They exceeded my expectations on how badly they could screw up.
The forecast for Saturday wasn't bad at all on Tuesday, and it's improved since.
Seems likely the weather isn't the main reason they pulled the plug.

I wasn't surprised at all by it, especially when the forecast was just 8% on the day of cancel. I figured something else was up. Have to wonder how many racers got screwed up by it, especially those traveling from up north or out west.

What's more shocking is that they haven't decided to reschedule it against another big LM race (yet)

It's like what they did to the North South Shootout this year (cutting their series from the card & moving Hickory a week back so it conflicts it), many of the local / longtime fans of Concord are PISSED because Supers were the backbone of that track in the Big 10 era.

Personally I'm fine with SLM's gone though as they used to put that race first before the Modifieds in recent times
