Hope the weather fofecast improves, I'll be following along as always down here in NC. Most likely going to get a Flo subscription on Wednesday to watch all of the races but want to wait out to see if the weather forecast improves at all. If not there's always DIRTvision's radio broadcast. Glad to hear that it s staying at Oswego most likely.

Few other big races this week with the Pittsburgher 100 for Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, Short Track SuperNationals at Afton for the Short Track Super Series Modifieds, DIRTcar UMP Fall Nationals at Pevely, Obktoberfest at LaCrosse for the ARCA Midwest Tour and the MRS race at Lee USA.

it appears they will be back next year. Initial contract was 3 years so expect and extension announcement perhaps Weds.

Also heard the want to redo the camping in order to add 200 more sites.

Nothing against Oswego, I'd love to go see a Super Modified race there, but Super Dirt Week on a shorter track just won't entice me to make the 10 hour trip. I made the trip in 2015, it was the coolest racing event I've ever been to, but with the death of the mile I probably won't be back.

I assure you, there isn't anyone here that doesn't miss the mile.

Oswego put on some good racing at least last year. Nothing will replace the Mile though. I know costs would never allow it but it would be neat if they could run a special race on one of the other horse racing tracks up there though sometime during the year.

Texas Dirt Truck Racing Series has been formed for 2019. The series will use the ARbodies spec Late Model Truck bodies regularly seen on asphalt tracks, along with metric chassis, low-cost shock package & engine choice being either a GM Crate 604 or SBC. The tour will be based at I-37 Speedway in Southern Texas.

Another day of rain at Oswego.

Brett Hearn had a pretty wild ride at Brewerton in one of the practice or qualifying sessions.

Donny Schatz enters the World 100 as a pre-cautionary measure if either the World gets delayed or if Jacksonville / Terre Haute gets canceled on the WoO Sprint Car side of things.

Just a handful of laps remaining in the 200, Phelps having to put for a splash of fuel after attempting to go all 200 laps. Have to wonder if they was going to make it if the caution laps counted during that yellow/red.

There was a big pileup with 30 to go

Larry Wight got the win after holding off Stewart Friesen on the 3 lap shootout. Ryan Godown was running 3rd before blowing up, he couldn't make it into the pits & Billy Decker made contact which dropped him to 4th as Peter Britten got by.

Yeah, that Shullick story reads all buddy buddy except DJ called out Otto as being desperate for a win when Otto moved him aside last year. This year, as it said, Otto worked on his stuff and DJ wasn't even pitted with the rest of the Nicotra cars. A serious rift developed between Otto and DJ and even though DJ won races, Otto won the $10k Mr. Super, The Classic and the Track Title.
