39, but he's think more about staying around his family then spending so much of the year away from home.

He did also break his back a few years ago and those are the kind of injuries that once you’ve done it, it’s a lot easier to break a second time with much dire consequences, so maybe he is putting his health above racing as well.

Okay, yeah, only a year younger than I am and I've had a fare share of I'm too old for this shit moments already, and I'm not even going through half of what they do.

I haven't been following that closely, so I honestly forgot about that.

Honestly all of that makes sense.

For real... The cars look so good but are so shit.

Aussie's are suffering the same thing... Sort of.

Not to piss in the Hatorade but when was this amazing racing produced by the Gen 6 car that the next gen car has ruined? What I've seen is after 2 generations of consistently terrible racing between COT and Gen 6, the new car has made the gap from the haves to the havenots a lot tighter, they're able to race side by side a lot more, and you can actually lose control of the car.

Yes the engine package is still retarded, the 5 minute rule is still retarded, a lot of things about the sport are still terrible, but those aren't the car. As fashionable and as much fun as it is to hate on NASCAR (seems like the main appeal for posters in this area of TBK these days) I'm not going to call this specific thing terrible when it's factually an improvement on what we had before.

He’s probably taking about the short track, road course and super speedway packages which are all collectively as shit as each other, the only one producing decent racing is the intermediate package, which ironically, if the type of track they’ve spent five years trying to move away from lol.

The superspeedway version needs a HUGE rear wing instead of spoiler with DRS element.

I'm afraid I'm not seeing what you're seeing. As others have said, short tracks, superspeedways and road courses are worse than ever. 1.5 milers are a marginal improvement on before, but considering that what we had before was complete dogshit that's not saying much. The low power & high aero is killing the racing, but rather than fix the problem NASCAR make it worse with stage racing and stupid championship formats. It's hard to see any positives.

Not sure if legit or top-tier trolling... But this is apparently a NASCAR crossover EV stock car prototype.

According to MRN's Dave Moody, Ken Squier is in the final days of his life.

Very sad news indeed.
