I swear the commentators are going on about THE FLAMES OUT THE PIPES way more than ever before, seems to be the new 2024 meme

Not really a lot anyone could do there. No contact or loss of control from the initial block, it was KyBu being pushed into Byron by the 6 (which couldn't have done much else).

That’s two Daytona races in a row with Blaney trying to go through the wall.

I see NASCAR got their highlights material from the second duel. All in all a successful night according to their standards I am sure.

I see they are having to move the schedule around already, the ARCA race will now be at 22:30 EST.

I was just looking at the forecast again. Tomorrow looks worse as the day progresses, but there could be a Sunday evening Daytona 500 if they can get the track dried and keep it that way. Still, things look wet enough that I imagine at least one of the races will be Monday.

Ty Majeski wins the pole for the Truck Race. ARCA qualifying was full of surprises. Owner drivers Willie Mullins and Tim Richmond qualified on the front row. Shane Van Gisbergen originally was a DNQ for the ARCA race but one car withdrew and he's in the ARCA race.

Poor driver in the #46. Clear run then all of a sudden two trucks closing him off.

I feel like the "Don't lock bumpers" rule in Trucks is pretty pointless, they still tear up a bunch of trucks every year at Daytona.
