No thread for this?

As this series, and Late Models in general, are gaining steam, why not give it its own dedicated thread. From what I've seen from 2023 the racing has been pretty good, with more and more talent joining ranks.

Brent Crews, the 2023 Trans-Am TA2 champion will race for Kevin Harvick Inc in the #29. He and Connor Zilisch are among the most talented young drivers I've seen from the States in a long time, Zilisch will also appear in the series in '24.

I've attended LM and SLM stuff at Milwaukee and Slinger and this racing is incredibly entertaining. What bothers me is its almost cheaper to attend these races in person than to pay for the streams online and that hurts access and interest. Even if its only a handful of races, I wish we had some sort of limited broadcasting on a CBSSN or FS2 type channel.

Fun Icebreaker at Florence last night, some kid called Dale Earnhardt Junior stormed through the field to finish 4th.

ASA tried with a cable deal on MAVTV last year, not sure if that's returning this year or not.

the problem is that most of these series simply can't justify the costs of a air time rental (that they'd need sponsors to pay for) on the bigger networks that might get 300 people watching at 2:30am for it's only airing - especially as costs continue to rise & would be taking away from the already tiny as hell purse the asphalt guys race for.

I got xfinity and they dont offer MAVTV which really sucks. Had it with direcTV.

Snowball Derby will be broadcast by FloRacing this year. Winners share of the purse also increased by $15,000 (now $50k to win)

Massive improvement, should make the race much more accessible. RacingAmerica charged, what 75 dollars? Plus the subscription fee.
