Chase Elliott is going to be the ringer at Nashville. This is going to be the first time since a late model race in 2013 that Chase and Bill Elliott have raced against each other.

By virtue of his win in last night's Slinger Nationals, Luke Fenhaus will be the local hero competing at this weekend's race at Slinger.

That was totally not Paul Tracy's fault.

That feature race at Slinger was awesome. Great battle between Fenhaus and Stewart with Marco Andretti winding up winning. I've enjoyed all of the races so far.

Chase Elliott wins at Nashville. Stewart is the champion.

Great racing all around.

Very enjoyable season from start to finish. I think Tony Stewart, Ray Evernham and co. deserve a round of applause for putting such an entertaining series together. I don't think they could have asked for a better first season than that. Looking forward to seeing what's next.

Jimmy Spencer, Buckshot Jones, Jeff Green - bring back all the old hotheads!

That would be an amazing lineup of drivers.... if your goal was to put SRX out of business in one night with all the destroyed cars.

-------------------------

On another subject, the "green flag limit" caution needs to die, or at the very least don't insult your audience by not telling them beforehand.
Maybe set up the heat races as "6-minute first segment/3-minute commercial break caution/3-minute dash to the finish"

They only have 16 race cars.

Seriously though, I can see somebody like Clint Bowyer being a part of this and he might do well too because of his experience on both dirt and asphalt tracks.
