Some surprising names didn't make the Xfinity series race:

-Boris Said in the #17 for Hendrick Motorsports
-Preston Pardus in his #50
-Devin Jones in Mike Harmon's #74
-Andy Lally in the #87 for Doug Peterson Racing

In some irony Boris Said was offered a ride in the #66 car and Said turned it down because he didn't think the car was competitive. Sage Karam qualified top 20 in the #66 car.

I wasn't expecting stage caution, was thinking more like this is a road course

Yep. Brought back stage cautions to increase crashes, moved the restart zone to reduce crashes. NASCAR logic

For a series that's caution happy, they're really holding off on throwing a yellow when there are cars lying prone on the track

I've seen caution just for the tyre smoke before on ovals, so it is refreshing at least

It's also about the third time they've cut to a crash just after it has happened and not bothered to replay it lol

And of course after I say that features a restart where 3 cars go barrelling into T1 and hiting the wall hard and driving off, but NASCAR threw the caution before they'd even really made an impact, so probably didn't need to
