I'm recently addicted to Parks and Rec, so for some reason I think of Tom Haverford making this face every time I hear/see a corny joke.

Great show man

I saw on Jayski that Geico and Casey Mears signed with Germain Racing through 2014.

Where is this new iPhone app that I just read about? Keep searching the app store and I see nothing.

I know it will probably suck but I still want to see it

Edit: found it 29th in order on search for word NASCAR. Already crashed twice on me. Deleted. I see the good shit is only for for sprint users. Way to alienate 90% of moble users on Verizon and AT&T diphits. No one will change to Sprint for a NASCAR app. Mind blown.

Question for those of you that have seen Days of Thunder. Was the Aldo Benedetti part suppose to be a bigger part that got cut down during production? I find it kind of weird how the guy gets a couple spots in the movie and thats it. To me, it would of made more sense to use someone like a Ricky Rudd or Earnhardt or someone that was real

I read something about him being a replacement for Mario Andretti. They either couldn't get Mario or just cast him to loosely portray Mario. Obviously, Mario hadn't raced stock cars in years but he was still pretty much the most recognized figure in US auto racing even at that time.

Kurt Busch pays up on a bet. He's a Bears fan and Matt Kenseth is a Packer's fan. The Packers beat the Bears Thursday night and Busch had to wear this to the driver's meeting in Chicago.

I can't help but imagine how would Kurt react when Jay Cutler was being horribly accurate while the Bears O-line decided to suck again...

Possibly short-tracks without SAFER barriers in 2013? For the past decade, SAFER barriers have been a necessity at ovals hosting NASCAR's top three series. But that could change in 2013. NASCAR Camping World Truck Series director Wayne Auton said on Friday at Iowa Speedway that the sanctioning body is eagerly awaiting the results of a safety report to determine the feasibility of potentially adding one to three short tracks events to next year's to-be-announced truck schedule at facilities that don't currently have SAFER barriers already in place. Auton confirmed the long-standing rumor that at least one road course will likely appear on next year's slate of events, though he declined to name which road courses are under consideration.Asked when the truck schedule will be released, Auton said it's uncertain at this point as negotiations with tracks continue.(RacinToday.com)(9-15-2012)

Hell yes (to the road course.)

As for the SAFER barriers... Why doesn't NASCAR just dig down in their bottomless pit of wealth and flip the bill to have the barriers installed? They'd easily be able to spin that into some sort of shameless promotion of themselves.

Yay Larry Mac.

“I think their current driver lineup is running as well they’re going to run. In the Nationwide Series, Danica Patrick is probably as good as she’s going to be. She’s going to run between ninth and 15th and maybe score a top five on a really good day," McReynolds said. "I don’t care if you put Chad Knaus in as her crew chief. She’s going to run where she is running.

I am a Larry Mac fan. I think Danica is a good driver, which you have to be to be a top 15 driver, but good is not great, which you need to be consistently in the top 5.

I was wondering about that. Nice to hear.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Glad to see Allmendinger was able to do what he needed to do to get back into Nascar. Hopefully there won't be a repeat occurance.

I also read that John King will return to the truck series this weekend at Kentucky driving the #5 truck for Richie Wauters.
