Anyone else notice CBS Sports televised 'DuQuoin' on three different occasions but none of them were the actual race?

just a program error, Duquoin was never mentioned as one of the televised races

This is the craziest ARCA finish, (One of the craziest in Auto racing) that I've ever seen...you guys recall this race? new one to me, musta not known about this race being aired back in the day.

Hey! it's that commentator guy who did Champcar for a year in 2003 or so....
Whatever happened to him? Always liked his style even if it was unique.

Amazing finish though, seemed to be Karma with Finger being taken out then everyone else getting out of his way in front of him for him to retake the lead. Crazy stuff, racing needs to be more like that sometimes :p

Rick Benjamin has been around for quite awhile young lad. He called NASCAR races for TNN back in their era of covering NASCAR as well.

There's a Busch race on Youtube from a short track in the early 90s that he called under a different name. I can't remember what it was but I thought it was strange.

IMCA Mods on the Mile? Holy hell. We have enough problems with our Big Block/Small Block DirtCar Mods at Syracuse. Can't imagine running the IMCA style mods.

Although, DuQuoin, Indiana and Springfield are far superiror miles compared to the NYS Fairgrounds in Syracuse.

You're not thinking of Mark Allen are you? That's an entirely different person.

Working on pictures from last night's race at Salem, but here's a photo of Clayton Weatherman's car after he crashed in qualifying:

He spun off Turn 4 the first time, nosed it slowly into the inside wall and got going again, he came around the second time and the right front blew, sending him straight into the turn 1 wall. I didn't catch the second crash, but I took a few shots of the first.

I just wanted to inform all my loyal followers. Road Runner The Movie has nothing to do with me. They sold me a bunch of lies and took a considerable amount of money from me. So if your friends with them and believe the lies, all I ask is be careful. They have caused me and others a great amount of hardship. The reason I have posted this I see many mutual friends with them because of me. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I just finally got around to watching the Kentucky race. That was one of the most entertaining races I've seen in a while! :flag:

It helped that the race didn't feature one dominant Venturini car as the only competitive car with a chance to win as usual at 1.5milers

So I got a really good phone call today and it looks like I'll be in the 81 car for Randy Macdonald's team at Daytona in December. :)

And pending approval, should be making an attempt at the race in February. :flag:
