PLEASE stay humble Chase. Don't go the way of Denny and so many other up and comers. I want to be able to root for you in the future.

I don't get why Kenseth left the top open there.. he really bogged himself down under Sadler.

Not too often you see two Nationwide Regulars finishing 1-2 at Darlington but Chase Elliott and Elliott Sadler were able to do it.

Chase Elliott Sadler lol

But seriously, I really like this kid. Not too much hype around him. Just racing and doing what he can. I mean the kid is still in high school. He's very well spoken too. I think he has a bright future. He will probably have some downs and we shouldn't put him as the next best thing yet, but if he keeps this up, he will be here for a long time.

Officially sold on Elliott. Has now done twice what Larson couldn't do once against the same opposition.

Also great to see NAPA's gamble on a younger driver paying off. Hopefully more sponsors get the same idea.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I'm impressed. Not ready to annoint him a champion but he's done way better than I was expecting. He's also doing a good job of keeping clean, especially after his scandalous driving at Mosport in the trucks and the Daytona ARCA race.

He will do what Austin Dillon couldn't do: win the Nationwide Series champion as a rookie and with wins to boot.

I'm easily swayed, but seeing him stay trouble-free after the past few months and seeing his performance the past few races, he's now somewhat likeable.
I hope everyone here is ready for a Chase Elliott "not Sadler" dual between him and Larson for the next ~20 years. Add Ryan Blaney into the mix as well.

Incredible what this kid has done. Don't be surprised at all if someone pulls strings to get him in a Cup car next year, would like to see him run another year in Nationwide, but you know these hungry for win owners can't wait.
