It's always the underdogs you want to have a good finish and not the ones you don't want to have a good finish because they've had enough good finishes already and are dicks :slaphead:

That race did not go the way NASCAR expected it to

Fully expected a send from Kyle on the last lap and that dickhead Austin to profit without having to do anything

But yeah, NASCAR expected that to be a wreck-em up Yardsale of a race and they got a pretty boring event, all told lol

Watch them make changes next year, 200 laps divided into 25 lap heats or something like that so they can get the carnage they crave!

It was an interesting race. It didn't turn into a complete demolition derby like I was expecting at the end. It sounds like it was a successful event overall, judging by the crowd and the feedback from the drivers and fans.

I'd say playoff bonus points after every heat to make drivers put up a fight

I thought it was a good race. Sure, it didn't get memey as we all thought it would be, but it's a nice, fresh breath of air.

Honestly, the only thing that sucked is the TV coverage. We've been on record saying that FOX sucks, and once again, it shows in production value. The only good thing they have are their commentators. That's it. Everything else is either overproduced to hell and back or leaves a lot to be desired.

I thought they did a good job with the track to actually make it raceable in such a confined setting.

Race was alright. But it came across very small-time.
There's a lack of dynamic personalities in the drivers, and the presentation makes it so no race can live up to the lead-in.

It seems like these new cars are much more fragile than the old ones.

On the other hand, we also had a LOT of beating and banging that would have resulted in tons of cut tires in the old car, but the composite bodywork held up really well and we didn't have any cut tires.

True. Less surface area on the sidewalls would have helped with that as well.

How low are the splitters though?

I'll be disappointed if we get to Daytona and they're not taking wheelies from digging their ridiculously low splitters into the grass... :whistling:

no ride height rule like in past with the Gen6; lesser surface plane near the earth with it hiked up in the center (only on the fender sides)
