Who was the 3rd one? I knew about Clifford and Davey.

Maybe he was talking about Bobby Allison's father who died in the spring of 1992. It would have been more than 13 months between his death and Davey's death. Then a few months after Davey died, Neil Bonnett, who was like family to the Allison's was killed in a practice crash at Daytona. It's a shame that he had to endure so much tragedy in such a short period of time.

ESPN is implementing "Side-by-Side" coverage for the their broadcasts of the 10 races in the chase. Calling it "NASCAR Nonstop". The only difference is that they are only doing it after halfway of every race.

Better than none at all. About time they implemented the IndyCar idea.

Kudos to ESPN... heck might be cheering for commercial breaks now.... of course that would change if they just put Bestwick in the booth.

I like that idea because they won't be missing anything late in the race that could have an impact on who wins the race or the championship. This is something that's long overdue, I think.

It's been around for 6 years and NASCAR broadcasters are finally implementing the idea.

If the IRL is remembered for one thing that will have a positive lasting impact in motorsports, it's side-by-side coverage.

Just a reminder guys, NASCAR has done side-by-side coverage during commercials before. It was during a TBS race, the 2000 500 miler at Charlotte.

Not so much related, but that reminds me of when TNN streamed an all-onboard channel on their website for the 1998 Winston.

I can just imagine the frustration of watching a choppy video stream on a slow-as-fuck LAN line on Netscape.

160x120 resolution at 5fps? Now that's quality entertainment.

With bodies like that Chevy probably wouldn't mind bringing the Camaro back to NASCAR? Front end and side view look awesome. Rear end need some work though.

NASCAR wouldn't run it anyways in the top series, especially with the rear end having that much air under it. But I really like how the spoiler is small and integrated into the rear deck lid bodywork.

Might as well simulate the experience on NASCAR Racing 1.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but apparently Kimi is set to race in nationwide at Charlotte next weekend. Got the info from a finnish friend, apparently it's all in Finnish magazines. Maybe Finnish members can relate?

It's true apparently. Kyle hinted that, they have a NWS car in their shop, even though the team doesn't have a licence to race in NWS. So, it would be KB equipment entered by another owner.
