They just mentioned the possibility of a plate size change, but I doubt that will happen.

How do they look after about 10 laps? Do they look like they'll start out crazy but then tuck in single file?

They were all 3/3/4/3 etc for almost the entire session until they gradually peeled off into the pits.

Then it was around 6 cars in a pack single file, with single car runs scattered about.

It's Talladega, and the weather will be cool. They'll be able to pack race all day long if they choose to.

This is what worries me.

I pretty much expect riding around at this point.

Front Row cars are stout again this weekend. A sweep of Dega would be epic!

Would love to see that again. Gilliland leading Ragan this time. BK racing, Swan Racing... Any underdog is good.

Apparently Cup qualifying is delayed due to "light rain"...we might have threat of rain tonight in the TROOKS with a full moon, so they'll be racing quite hard as well... 8O

Fuck BK racing unless they fire the wife beater.

Qualifying is rained out. Hornish is suppose to go home but Penske might be trying to buy his way in according to some on twitter.

No way there gonna let Hornish go home in the days of start and parks. Though the 40 is the only I can see bailing, and NASCAR might not approve of that...hmmm

Well, no lights at Talladega so no racing to be had under the full moon if the weather doesn't cooperate.

You would think someone in NASCAR would fucking realize that maybe they should start these races at tracks with no lights a littler earlier instead of at 4:00 in the fucking afternoon in the middle of October.

There's no chance of rain for the rest of today and tomorrow. Trucks will go on as planned at 4:00 ET (3:00 Central).

Well, it'll be 3:00 at the track (Central timezone) but your point still stands.

It seems particularly silly when it's at a track that is notorious for big, track littering accidents too (lots of cleanup time to account for).

"Cleanup time" and long cautions should only apply to ARCA races here, which fortunately take place in Spring where darkness shouldn't be an issue. As for Truck races here, NASCAR should have the option to move the starting time for Trucks one hour back should rain become an issue.
