Meanwhile, Corey Lajoie wins in his ARCA debut in a car he helped build himself. Josh Williams finished a career-best 2nd. Williams and Spencer Gallagher are now going to be running out of the same shop after Williams subbed for an injured Spencer Gallagher at Winchester.

watching cautions at IRP was more exciting than green flag runs at the big Indy

Thank god for Eldora.

I actually think this whole Eldora thing could be a huge letdown once the initial "TROKS ON DIRT" hysteria is got over, they'll all be single file, running the top lane with no sideways stuff, TV coverage will be awful too.

Being there in person will be another matter though.

It will be interesting to see whether its a one and done event or if they'll be back next year. I think they will go back. Its too unique an event for it to be replaced.

NO WAY HOW DO U KNOW

Super stoked to see Corey LaJoie win yesterday. It seems like forever since we've had a talented group of up-and-comers (as opposed to one or two of them), and we might be there now. Chase Elliott, Darrell Wallace Jr. (despite what some people say on this forum, I think he'll end up doing just fine), Corey LaJoie, Ryan Blaney, Kyle Larson, and a few others that I can't really think of off the top of my head. Should be fun to watch!

It's been so long since stock cars have raced at Eldora I wonder how the trucks will be.

Be interesting to see if they're actually allowed a shot in a good Sprint ride, or if they're held back like Justin Allgaier and Trevor Bayne by the obsession with running Cup drivers in every series.
