there were a few guys who figured it out before then. the smooth repaving of the track is what made it possible, it just took a few guys to stumble upon it before everyone else caught on

I feel prize money should be based on how much of the race you finish. Finish 100% of the race? You get all the prize money for your position. Finish only two laps? You get 1% of your prize money.
