The good news is, Hamlin won't need surgery on his back. Bad news is he will be out of the car at least 6 weeks while he heals.

I sometimes wonder if his RaceHub persona is real, or if it's just a character. He's not racing anymore, so he has to ham it up, somehow.

As for Denny being out six weeks, I hate the guy, but I'd rather be cheering against him boisterously in those races than having him be out due to an injury.

I don't like Denny but I hope he has a speedy recovery. A back problem is nothing to fuck with. JGR will probably have Sadler and Vickers split the 11 but I wish they'd give this opportunity to a Nationwide kid that just needs that one shot in good equipment.

As insane as Jimmy Spencer is, I actually agree with a lot of the things he says on RaceHub. Totally disagree with him about the whole Logano deal though.

what did he say?

also.....

Quote:
Sadler expected to fill in for Hamlin: Elliott Sadler has been chosen as the primary sub for Denny Hamlin. All that's preventing an official announcement, as of Wednesday morning is a few details to work out with sponsor Fed Ex. Sadler, who was long pegged as the likely choice is driving full-time for Joe Gibbs Racing in the Nationwide Series and was scheduled to drive a fourth Cup car in a limited schedule later this season. There are no conflicts on the Nationwide schedule that would affect Sadler until early June.(Frontstretch)(3-27-2013)

UPDATE: Joe Gibbs Racing said Thursday morning that they were not prepared to announce a replacement driver for Denny Hamlin yet. The Associated Press' Jenny Fryer tweeted, "the word on the street is [Mark Martin] is in play for #11 in a straight swap with [Michael Waltrip Racing] for [Brian Vickers], except Talladega."(3-28-2013)

Confirmed that Mark will drive the 11. Vickers will run the 55 in the next 5 to get more seat time as he's expected to be it's full time driver in 2014. Someone asked is this the way the racing will be at the other tracks? If it can be like this at Fontana, (its past reputation is well documented) I can imagine what Atlanta, Kansas an Chicagoland will be like.

That would be great if true. I like Mark but would rather see Vickers get a full-time ride.

I'd love to see Old Man Martin get a win before he goes out how he's been driving this and last year lead me to believe that I'm not gonna wait much longer
