(TOLEDO, Ohio - October 3, 2012) - The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards will make its first appearance at Road America in Wisconsin next summer, ARCA officials announced today.

This morning, ARCA received from the track a sanctioning agreement that ensures the scheduling of the stock car series' first event at the 14-turn, 4.048-mile road course between Milwaukee and Green Bay on Saturday, June 22, 2013.

"ARCA Racing Series road course events have proven to be highly entertaining and competitive, while also opening our level of competition to different racers and teams," said Ron Drager, president and CEO of ARCA. "Planning an event at Road America ensures that ARCA will continue its position as the most versatile sanction in stock car racing. We look forward to adding Road America to our road course history. Likewise, we will soon announce the date for our sixth consecutive annual event at New Jersey Motorsports Park, which will give us multiple road course races in the 2013 season."

Opened on over 640 acres of Wisconsin farmland in 1955, Road America hosts over 400 events each year. The track, located near the popular tourist destination of Elkhart Lake, Wis., will be the 10th different road course to host the ARCA Racing Series since the series' first road race in 1958.

"We are very excited to have the ARCA Racing Series at Road America in 2013," said Road America president and general manager George Bruggenthies. "Our track is fast and challenging, with sweeping corners followed by heavy braking. Every driver loves the elevation changes and the layout, which has remained unchanged since it was first built. You've got to have finesse to be quick, but also guts to get through the Carousel and the Kink - one of the most intimidating corners in the world. We are also excited to be providing non-stop racing action throughout the weekend with the NASCAR Nationwide Series and Trans-Am Series. It will be awesome to watch all these racers and experience all the sights, sounds, and thrills that stock car racing brings to a road course."

Recently, the ARCA Racing Series announced its renewal of a partnership at Mobile International Speedway in Alabama for a Saturday, March 9 event. Additional race dates for the 2013 season will be released shortly.

(KANSAS CITY, Kan. - October 19, 2012) - Officials from FOX Sports Media Group (FSMG) and the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) have announced a multi-year extension of the current television rights agreement between the two groups, with a minimum of 10 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards events televised either live and/or same-day delay each season.

In 2013, ARCA television coverage begins with the drop of the green flag on the series' 50th appearance at the world-renowned Daytona International Speedway in February.

"ARCA has a very supportive group of race fans, and for over 15 years they have turned to us for their television coverage," said Scott Ackerson, FOX Sports Media Group EVP, executive producer, and SPEED president. "We now look forward to continuing in that role over the coming years."

ARCA's relationship with SPEED reaches back to April 20, 1997, when the network (then Speedvision) covered the ARCA Racing Series race at Salem Speedway. Since then, SPEED has aired 197 ARCA Racing Series events, with tonight's season-ending Kansas Lottery 98.9 scheduled as the 198th.

Year-over-year broadcast ratings have spiked by 24 percent in 2012, highlighted by substantial improvements in key demographics.

"We're very encouraged by the completion of this deal," said ARCA president Ron Drager. "Fox Sports Media Group has shown its commitment to motorsports in a significant way this week, and we are especially pleased to make this announcement at the season finale to create some momentum as we move forward into 2013."

The ARCA Racing Series season will close in tonight's Kansas Lottery 98.9 at Kansas Speedway, with race action starting at 8:30 p.m. ET (7:30 p.m. local) on SPEED. ARCARacing.com will also feature live timing and scoring coverage for the season finale.

ARCA Racing Series action will return to Kentucky Speedway for a 150-mile tilt on Sept. 20, 2013.

The race completes a five-event 2013 speedway schedule and will open a doubleheader weekend that also will include a 300-mile NASCAR Nationwide Series tussle.

ARS competition will return to the Bluegrass State for the 20th time. The series last appeared at the speedway in 2009. The list of past ARS race winners at the track includes Kyle Busch, Ryan Newman, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., James Buescher and nine-time series champion Frank Kimmel, of nearby Jeffersonville, Ind. He owns four career series victories and five pole awards through 19 track appearances since 2000.

The speedway’s 14th season opens June 27 with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) UNOH 225. Competition will continue June 28 with the NNS Feed The Children 300 before defending Quaker State 400 champion Brad Keselowski battles inaugural race winner Kyle Busch and fellow stars Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart and more fan favorites in prime time June 29.

The pursuit of the Hoosier Tire Superspeedway Challenge Award will feature eight races in 2013, up from seven in 2012, following yesterday's announcement of a September 20 ARCA Racing Series event at Kentucky Speedway.

In addition to the Kentucky race - the 20th for ARCA at the 1.5-mile track but the first since 2009 - seven other speedway events are confirmed for the 2013 season.

ARCA's 61st season will open at the 2.5-mile Daytona International Speedway (pictured) on Saturday, February 16; the race will be ARCA's 50th at Daytona, continuing a tradition that dates back to 1964.

The 2.66-mile Talladega Superspeedway will host an ARCA race for the 51st time on Friday, May 3. 2.5-mile Pocono Raceway will host ARCA twice for the 27th consecutive year and its 55th and 56th ARCA events, on its traditional race weekends in early June and early August.

Michigan International Speedway's two-mile oval will be the host for ARCA's fourth speedway event of the year - and 31st at the track - on Friday, June 14. On July 21, Chicagoland Speedway will welcome ARCA on a Sunday for the first time in 13 races at the 1.5-mile oval.

After the second Pocono event and the Kentucky race in September, the speedway schedule will conclude in ARCA's season finale on Friday, October 4 at Kansas Speedway. Chris Buescher completed his first ARCA championship season at the 1.5-mile oval last month, as the track hosted ARCA's final race for the first time in 12 years. In the same race, Brennan Poole clinched the 2012 Hoosier Tire Superspeedway Challenge for owner Cathy Venturini.

The 2012 ARCA Racing Series Championship Awards Banquet is scheduled for Saturday, December 8, and will be held in conjunction with the International Motorsports Industry Show (IMIS), which will begin two days prior. The banquet will take place in a new location, the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis.

Testing for the ARCA Racing Series' 50th appearance at Daytona International Speedway, in February 2013, will take place from December 14-16.
