So NASCAR managed to find a way to fuck up a race that is usually guaranteed entertainment?

Sounds about right...

There is no hope left whatsoever when it comes to NASCAR :yuk:

I want Johnson to win 8th titles ASAP, so the total piss down by the Chase on NASCAR's history becomes complete.

In a way it would all still be kind of unfair to JJ, because for all we know he could/would have won just as many titles under a legitimate system.

Can someone tell me why many of you don't like JJ? I've just watched some old topics and I think in Phoenix 2011 (?) thread when he crashed all of you was happy.
Well I'm 20 years old and it was hard at the beggining to watch races here in Poland, so I don't remember exactly what he done.
He and Jeff Gordon was one of the first drivers I knew and I was always happy if one of them will win.

Well this race was certainly something that happened.

Did I really just watch a race at Martinsville with barely any incidents?

If you've not worked out this forum hates dominance by now I don't know what else to tell you

Lewis, Penske, Citreon, hell you should've been here when MS was dominating in the Ferrari (though that was COMPLETELY JUSTIFIED as the WORST ERA EVA!!! imo :p )

JJ gets the job done because he worked out all you have to do is win a race early then spend the rest of the year testing your car for the 10 chase races.
So obviously=evil

Well, I don't like Kyle also like many of you, but we know why. So I'm trying to learn if JJ also done something :D
One thing I know about this forum is that if some thread have more than 10 pages:
there was massive crash/big one/wtf is that situation/DEGAAA

Yes, he is still this era's best driver. The "hatred" (or whatever it is) against him is funny. So I want him to win, of course.

Half (at least) of the NASCAR is just a basket of unlikeables, and the other half is probably a basket of deplorables anyway.

i dont hate jj. he seems to be an amazing guy in person. my personal frustration with jj is that his particular driving style happened to line up perfectly with the high-downforce COT. that, and having the genius of chad knaus as crew chief helped give him the dominance that he had. the newer package with less downforce has really hurt jimmy's ability to dominate, but yet this win guarantees him a shot at the championship race. so, the idea of jimmy adding another championship to his list of previous COT championships in a year where he didnt really dominate is frustrating

obviously, this is a very opinionated opinion (whatever that means)

it's sad that there was actually a time when every nascar driver on the grid was likable.

I think that's a bit on the rose colored glasses side of things.

I've always been super apathetic towards JJ. That being said, if someone held a gun to my head and made me care about Nascar next season, he would probably be my favorite driver.
