Yeah, that was beyond dumb, the heat races and consi would be really intense if no one was guarenteed in. JR didn't look great in the first practice, but I still think he'll be able to race his way in once they get the set up right.

JR was 7th in p2. Ryan Blaney was fastest.

I just learned one thing about Tony Stewart. He's not a price gouger. This is a picture of Eldora's concession stand menu.

Excellent, also good to see BKR got Blaney's truck back together after he whacked the wall in the first practice.

Is that good then? I assume so.

Last time I went to Brands the prices were astronomical, thought I was going to have to ring the bank and arrange a mortgage to be able to afford a Burger (double those prices on Tony's board then replace the $ with a £).

Those prices are good, most places are probably double that.

Those prices are cheap. At most professional sporting events, you could expect to pay at least double what Eldora charges.

I'm assuming Eldora doesn't sell beer/alcohol...

A domestic beer will run you at least $5 at Bristol, while imports are $7. Best deal is a jar of the Ole Smoky Moonshine for $10. If you go direct to the Ole Smoky distillery and buy, it's about twice that.

But, yeah, most NASCAR tracks ass rape you with no lube when it comes to prices. I think a slice of Papa Johns pizza at Bristol is around $6.

I believe beer was also available.. "beers are $2; 6 for $10"

It looks like the early draw was crucial.

Let's go JR! Forgot to DVR the damn thing and won't be home until late. Ugh.

Those Eldora prices are cheaper than Lebanon Valley and they have the cheapest (but best) race track food around.

Ugh. The 80 and 63 are in the SAME heat? Two of the fastest outsiders... racing each other. Shitty draw.
