they need to throw the caution every five laps at Michigan, then it's interesting, seeing these cars spread out running the BR line is boring the fuck out of me.

Yeah, Carl won.

Commentators seemed to miss the fact that Busch got by Menard in the final corner.

These races would be better if the tapered spacers were gone.

I just came back in from fishing and had the end recorded, just to watch a weather report until there was 3 to go.

I had went to a father's day dinner, and I was praying nothing exciting or epic would happen while I was gone.

Thanks for winning another one, Earl.

Same here for the local affiliate in Chatanooga except they only showed about 30-40 laps at the end of the race.

Seriously. Those fucking tapered spacers have destroyed the quality of racing in the Nationwide and Truck series.

Can someone refresh my memory and tell me why NASCAR put those spacers in place?

I think the idea was to limit the RPMs and prevent engine failures. Sort of a measure to help the smaller teams.

Probably didn't hurt (or help) the fact that the Busch cars were running faster than the Cup cars when the spacers were put into place.

I was actually in favor of the tapered spacers when it was first introduced.

For a month.

When I find the races a lot more boring than usual with the spacers on, I am 100% against it. Fuck, if they removed the damn thing, the racing quality would be slightly better at worst.
