He's fine, but he hit the wall pretty hard. They're probably going to a backup.

Going back to drivers making their debut at Dover, the problem for guys coming out of the East Series is that they run on bias ply tires which are much more forgiving than the radials. The cars are virtually the same, but I would imagine you can drive the East cars harder and thats what probably catches the new guys out. I remember when Sean Caisse debuted here, I believe he had won the Busch North race that weekend but he wrecked two of Harvicks Busch cars as well.

I thought they ran bias plies only on the short tracks? Or is that ARCA?

Truck race got rained out. Starting tomorrow at 6 PM. Wonder if Speed will find a weird tape-delay timeslot for it now.

The East series runs bias ply everywhere. And Caisse didn't win the Dover race that weekend, he got the wall off of 2 then went into 3 like he didn't hit the wall and destroyed the car. He did win at Dover the next year after he drove through the leader since that is what he is best at doing. Should be interesting to see how long he lasts at Childress without daddy's money behind him. He'll probably end up losing the ride just like every other ride hes had.

Woops, you're right, I knew I shouldn't have gone from memory, he did however win the pole for that race which is what I must have been thinking of.

Going to be close for the truck race, really only have a little over two hours of daylight, if it's sunny, which it looks like it will be for both Saturday and Sunday.

Sellers and John 'Wrecks' Townley get together on the start, cautions out for Sellers blowing a tire from his damage

Honestly, when was the last time that Townley came out of a race weekend without tearing up a car in practice or a race (or both)?
