Really cool to see Brad take this one, given his history this week. When was the last time somebody won with an injury like that?

The last one I can remember was Denny Hamlin winning Martinsville a couple of weeks after tearing his ACL last spring.

I think his win was actually after the surgery to repair the knee. All the pain still counts though.

Actually, it was before. Or at least that's how I remember it.

Ah, just looked it up. You're right, he won a couple days before the surgery.

Speed just aired a short clip of the #59 flying over the wall on their Speed Center intro.

Oh, that's right, we still have the tape-delayed race to go.

I have a feeling Johnson will change his tune after he sees the replay, he came down.

speed showed a couple angles of the arca crash... it was neat, but not nearly as epic as the tweeters said it was

Don't know how a car flying over a wall at high speed wouldn't be epic.

Just got back to the hotel after the race... can't help but lol a bit at the mere speculation about the possibility of airbornez. I had my eyes on the wreck the whole time, and it truly would have been a nasty wreck had he actually hit the wall. As it was, it was just kinda hilarious.

More hilarious; the car was stuck on the top of the wall for the rest of the race.

Oh, and WHOO KEZ. Remember Kyle Busch at Bristol last year? "Brad who?"

Brad who just beat you man to man, wih an ankle the size of a grapefruit, tyvm.

A full-bodied stock car flying over a wall on a superspeedway just doesn't happen often. Personally, I think that makes it a little more awesome.

Looking forward to that T1 angle the most, with all three cars in the air. That should be fun :p

Exactly. Three cars got significant air, including one of those completely going over the wall. That just doesn't happen in modern day stock car racing. We all have been desensitized by all the ridiculous crashes this past year or so. :p
