He should have let go of the wheel
But seriously I do hope it's just precautionary.

Before they went to break they showed some footage of the driver getting away from the truck. Looked to be moving around completely fine. Perhaps he has a bit of whiplash or, like Tem said, some arm/hand problems.

This is NASCAR and this is their biggest race of the year...

Ehhh 3 years ago they called it early with no effort to reschedule, their determination is the subject of sponsor whims tbh

If Danica was still around in a competitive position, the race would definitely be restarted :p

I imagine getting rear ended done a number on his neck. It won't be a good seat belt system in there too.

I think people's motivation on how bad the track looks depends on what timezone they're in and if they need to go to bed or not :p

Given it was just under 100 gallons of flaming jet fuel, it looks remarkable. But I'm not sure it's fixable tonight.

It looked scraped up pretty easily by the jet part when they dragged it down.

Per AJ Allmendinger twitter

PR-drivers have been told exit their cars..

I know its a farce of a way to end this race but god I'd be so happy fore Dave and TBR if they win this.

Race is still getting a 3/10 even if the ending was something out of a Vin Diesel movie.
