Great paintscheme. Too bad it has to be used with the gigantic spoiler. It'd look better with the low downforce package from Kentucky/Darlington.

That paint scheme is goddamn amazing.

I quite like the 83 this week as well, but that Miller scheme tops the lot.

It's fairly accurate, judging from a Google newspaper archive search. They used it up until late 1965 when their current typeface was introduced.

It would be nice if this were a yearly tradition, other sports leagues have throwback nights, so why not this one.

That's a great idea! That would be fun if there was a throwback race every year.

Also, I saw Dale Jr. tweet something a couple weeks ago that even TV was jumping on the throwback bandwagon.
