Eh, it wasn't terrible. He just said that the 1 car was "in way over his head" racing the leaders like that, which is my biggest beef with the chase: chasers acting as if non chasers literally do not belong on the race track.

McMurray was one of the leaders when that happened.

I guess we can add the fact that chasers feel an extra sense of entitlement to the many reasons the system is Bad.

It's only gonna get worse when they keep eliminating people so there's more non chasers on track.
So much for added drama if the chase guys will be backing out of racing anyone wheel to wheel because they're worried about protecting their position.

At Dega they might as well just split them into 2 packs of chasers and non chasers and start them half a lap apart....

Stopped reading at "there argument would be". Can't stand articles that try to be taken seriously but can't get their shit straight when it comes to grammar.

There's no reason for the 27 team to help the 24 team, and I'm actually surprised teams pay others that courtesy (apparently) most of the time. You'd think they had enough to worry about in their own pit box.

This is why I hate this stupid elimination bollocks. You have drivers that run well and are consistant all year, and now they might be out of the title fight because a tyre blew up on them in one race. Great.
