Tags punted JV for the lead just before it. The only difference was Tags didn't do it properly and JV kept it on track. What JV did was basically the same, except he did it properly.

Yeah Tags totally deserved that, looked like he had it in for JV for getting all the hometown attention for a while, tried to dump him at a restart and didn't manage to complete the job then his only chance was to make a break and get away from Jaques and he failed at that too...

They're both as bad at each other but Jaques is way, way better at dumping someone

Amazing race though, particularly the parts with the Danica-train. Great battle seeing JV carve her up in the corners but she'd leap away on the straights
(The amount of gap she'd pull on the straights almost had me calling shenanigans but if someone told me she was lighter on fuel at that point I'd put it down to that. If they had the same fuel load then she must have the same trick car Dale Jr got in 2001 )

Last ten laps their usual brilliant self, +3 more laps of crazyness!

My recording cut out just after the chequred, did they replay any of the last lap crashes or just focused on the pass for the win?

Still, 10/10 race, Road courses only ones worth watching, more please NASCAR etc etc

The trucks are like a 70's throwback. They punch a huge hole in the air and they're aerodynamic like a brick. The wheelbase on the trucks is 112" instead of the cup and busch 110".
