I understand the purpose of the jut outs for safety trucks, but why do they need to be at such a nasty angle? |

The cars used to just spin backwards. I'd rather a car lift up and blow over than ram a wall like that. |

I think the long camera angle often makes the walls look worse than they are. A good example is where Kubica crashed at Montreal. If you look at it from an aerial shot, it's not that much of an angle at all. Even so, that was a nasty hit. |
