You gotta stand up to bullies, no matter how big their horse-teeth are.

Watching this post race more, Im seriously starting to wonder how manufactured this whole thing was...Think about it...Yet another 500 miles of NO ON TRACK ACTION...they needed some major drama for the week leading to Talladega. If all these brawls didn't happen there'd be NOTHING TO TALK ABOUT.

I wasn't able to watch this race but it seems similar to Richmond, in that both races will be remembered for the off track dramas. (drunk fan on catch fence)

Since when was taking your belts off after a race before you even get to the commitment line a good idea?

Just wondering.

Not a good idea, but pretty common, you'll usually notice drivers with their window nets etc down after the take the checkered and are on the cool down lap.

4 race probation for Stewart/Keselowski, $25k fine for Stewart, $50k for Keselowski, and nothing for Kenseth and Hamlin.. so basically, no penalties.

That makes no sense at all.

Do we expect anything less though?

I'm just glad Kenseth wasn't penalized. Brad's move on that restart was just desperate, weak shit.

So we penalize for blocking next?

I don't think he was making that connection.. but I may be wrong. Anyway, Kenseth went after him for dooring him after the race when his net was down and safety stuff was off (which wasn't a smart decision to do, either).

It's not blocking when the guy gets physically pushed into the wall. There was room for Kenseth's nose until Brad pinched him.

Bumper cars in the pits and garage area and Bkez gets the equivalent of "write a 500 word essay on why you shouldn't act out during a school assembly".

Hey, you can't expect the ratings to skyrocket for Dega from all the people wanting to see Kenseth and Hamlin put a helpless Kez through the fence if they won't be allowed to due to probation.

Brian France: marketing genius.

Kez was my fav driver for a while. He went downhill after his championship, I think it got to his head and he started saying and doing dumb shit.

The media is gonna have a fucking field day now with Stewart.....especially since the spotlight was starting to dim on him. :slaphead:

As if they hadn't already. GMA and Inside Edition are already casting Stewart as the bad guy--even tho all Tony did was back into Keselowski.

I honestly can't defend what Keselowski was doing. Winning that title in 2012 definitely went into his head and he really needs to show some humility before someone sends him to the fence.

NASCAR penalties not making sense is nothing new but how does Denny get NOTHING? Brad wasn't speeding thru the garage by himself...

If Nascar ran lets say football, there would be no penalties in the last 5 minutes because that might change the outcome of the game.
