Arca gets a pass because it's the first green flag of the season.

The sprint unlimited gets a pass because it's the first RACE of the season.

It takes us a couple of races through speedweeks for us to truly warm up our full cynicism.

Anyway, last year was pretty good. The 500 was epic, the NNS was epic, the duels had a flip! Don't remember the rest but that's more that I can remember from other speedweeks.

I only remember last year's finish because I was there. The crowd was not pleased.

The 197 laps leading up to it were great though.

Did anyone else hear a rumor about ARCA allowing everyone on the entry list to start the race as long as it didn't exceed 50 cars? I swear I saw that post on ARCA's website earlier, but I can't find it now
