I'm willing to give it a chance, just because Indy has never really produced decent races with NASCAR. They're obviously going to get a decent draft on the straights but what will happen when they reach the corners? Everyone will be washing up the track and the leader will fly off into the distance. It's not like Fontana where they can run different lines in the corners. It'll surely be really single file.

Everything logical says it'll be a failure, but there's a small part of me that worries about it somehow being a good race, and NASCAR deciding to go with this package at every single circuit.

And yes, go back to IRP.

To me everything about this says they're trying to replecate the racing indycar puts on here with the slipstreaming without fundementenally understanding how different stock cars and indycars are.

Still, at least they've admitted that they'll have different packages for different racetracks so if it sucks hard it may just be a once a year sucking.....

Next time I'm in Indy I want to catch some short track races on the way. Missed out this year.

I was wondering, is there any chance that the huge spoiler will create lift if a car gets spun around? The COT had that problem when they had the stupid wing.

Probably no more than the regular spoiler.

The COT wing didn't produce massive amounts of lift either, the lift was caused by the high rear quarter panels that allowed massive amounts of air to get under the rear of the car.

Even if that were the case, there's no need to worry about it. Who the fuck could possibly spin out with a 9-inch spoiler?

We'll get people going sideways but not spinning and NASCAR will still throw the caution anyway.

Who had the #63 and #03 trucks being top 10 in practice?

I'm rooting for Bobby Pierce in the #63 truck. He is a friend of a friend of mine. The #63 is a partnership between Bobby Pierce's dirt team and the Mittler Brothers. Rick Ren is the crew chief.

In other news, the Pelicans signed Kendrick Perkins to a 1-year deal to sit on the bench and do nothing. That's pretty ARCA as fuck

Well, I can't be the only guy here who doesn't have Fox Sports 2... I'd look up streams and stuff, but my luck, I'd find one that would give me some kind of computer herpes.

You guys have never let me down.
