Matt Weaver mentioned on twitter that Goodyear, being a consumer brand, does not want to give the impression that their tires don't last long and thus prefer supplying hard tires.

Yeah. It's kinda like the hard tires. Impressive from an engineering standpoint but really counter-productive for what needs to be accomplished. |

Mega save by Ross Kenseth. Frustrating coverage on that restart. The 55 doesn't get up to speed and that's all we get coverage of for the entire first lap. Just shots of him coasting along at 50 mph, lol. |

Have Xfinity qualifying on as background noise right now....holy fucking shit Kenny Wallace is god awful and even more annoying than usual. He brings nothing of any substance to the broadcast. |

I think he tries too hard to be a broadcaster. Needs to stick to stuff like Race Day or Victory Lane or whatever those shows are that I don't watch. |
