How do you figure it's the last stand-alone race? Road America and Montreal are standalones as well...

Those are both newer events added in the past few years. Doesn't count toward his point.

Sure it counts.

They're still stand-alone events, just added later.

Oh, and IRP wasn't on the 1982 schedule. It was first run in '83.

I think you completely missed the point. IRP is the last thing that reminds us of what this series used to be when it ran a lot of standalone races on short tracks. I miss the hell out of seeing Busch Grand Natonal races at Hickory, Orange County Speedway, Nashville Fairgrounds, etc.

Who doesn't? It gave the Busch series something of an identity.

Its possible that the USAC races will be streamed on ustream.tv. I haven't watched any this year, but I know they streamed races quite frequently last year.

I think they have streamed a grand total of one race this year and it was terrible coverage. The guy that use to shoot the races, Dean Mills, moved back to california, but then got layed off there, and now lives in Indiana working for usac again but isn't the main guy anymore. He was the reason USAC races were streamed. He had the propper equipment and a damn good camera. Hopefully USAC comes to there senses (lmao) and lets him shoot the main video again.

But yeah, doubt they stream it

Actually, it was on the schedule: http://racing-reference.info/race/1982_Kroger_200/B

And I fixed the description. Hopefully it's less confusing.

Been a pretty eventful ARCA race so far. Even had a red flag at one point.

At least he took it on the right side. Awfully heavy hit for a restart crash.

Is Jared Marks related to Justin Marks?

Blaney toasted his tires, could do nothing there on the restart.

I really wonder how well Dillon is going to do once he gets up into Nationwide and there are more people on his level of equipment.

I'm honestly surprised Childress hasn't put Ty in a truck yet.

I'd imagine Ty Dillon might get his ass handed to him in Trucks next season. He's getting the fundamentals down, but I wonder how much competition he really has, and how hard that's pushing him to work harder.

Oh, and great 6th place finish for Ryan Glenski. Made a lot out of that sub-par Andy Hillenburg equipment, even after going a lap down.
