Wendy Venturini suffered some pretty nasty injuries after getting hit by a car while jogging in Sonoma yesterday.

It sounds like she's going to be OK. Another update I saw on Twitter from another NASCAR reporter said that she's going to be in the hospital for at least a few days.

All Xfinity cars look like shit. Their probably just using 2019 to debut the name plate before putting it in Cup in 2020. Isnt a new generation of Cup car coming soon as well?

Shouldn't Toyota actually sell the car they're racing in Cup for at least a year before replacing it?

Oh my god, that looks terrible.

If they keep restyling the front, why can’t they restyle the rear?

I believe it hits show rooms in 2019 therefore Cup in 2020.

I'm talking about the 2018 model that won the 2017 championship even before the road car hit the forecourts lol

This is a random question from someone who is admittedly really ignorant so yeah; forgive, but why is the racing in the Pinty's series so good? At least everything I've seen from ti has been absolutely stellar. Is it the cars?

It's the Martinsville effect. Slow tracks = less aero dependency = less dirty air = more close racing = more passing + more contact, as damaged aero not an issue.

It will all go down the shitter should they ever decide to run big, fast aero tracks, of which there are thankfully none in Canada.
