Louisville (less than .5 mile, between 3 and 10 corners)
Flemington (square track driven like a circle)
Mesa Marin (high-banked half mile)
Saugus (flat short track)
I-70 (dog-legged high-banked short track)

Those are the type of tracks I'd want to see the Trucks run on. Different tracks with character.

Put all 5 on the Cup chase now!!!

Louisville and Mesa Marin are definitely gone. I think Flemington might be gone too. Saugus is being used for swap meets.

Louisville and Flemington are looong gone. I drive by the site of LMS often as it's right by CSX's yard in Louisville.

I mentioned on reddit that NASCAR should either go back to IRP or drop Indy altogether a few days ago, and had one guy get salty as hell about it. Funniest thing about it though was that it was probably the most upvotes any comment I've posted on r/NASCAR has ever received.

I always loved I70 ... It was my favorite track to race when the NASCAR truck expansion pack came out for the computer years ago.

NASCAR redditors are interesting. Some almost appear to be in complete denial about the state of NASCAR and claim it's never been better than it is now.

I've been watching since 1996 and I feel like a grizzled veteran because so many people there seemed to have been watching since '05-'06 or later. I think most of the users there are college age.

I swear 85% of the Nascar Redditors are 12-18. It's impossible to have any sort meaningful dialog with these kids in between, "HURR DURR HARVICK TO THE 5" or "Look at my vintage diecast from 2008" posts.

Or "check out this old NASCAR videogame from like 2005" during the offseason that I got annoyed from.

Matter of fact, there's rare instances that r/NASCAR actually finds something interesting...

most reddit NASCAR "fans" are of the wrecks-and-junior variety

Most reddit NASCAR fans are what we were in 2004. I feel like the average age there is between 13-16. Those kids only know NASCAR AD... After Dale. Or as we like to call it at SG, postcar.

Or, in my case, 2006-2008.

I'm afraid of looking back at my posts then...

I have a few times. I'm grateful I'm not who I was during that time period.

Hell I hate going back and looking at my old posts from the beginning of this board and definitely the old one. We've definitely matured to some extent. Heck it's been quite a while since someone has littered the board with drunk thread making
