Here was Kenseth's RF tire after the race:  Posted by Roy Kenseth (Matt's dad): Quote: A fact that most missed including the announcers. The 20 changed right side tires only on lap 260. On lap 335 they changed LEFTS, not rights. So at the end of the race Matt had 240 laps on his right side tires and 165 laps on his lefts, and went 165 laps on gas.

Part of me wants to be impressed, but mainly I am frustrated that new tires mean so little. |
