Since there is no timed caution once they reach 20 to go, I think that's less likely to happen. You can actually have 40 minutes of green flag racing to end the race without the weather scenario.

Driver will pit right before the 20 minute mark, be on pit road when the caution comes out, then will line up out front when everyone else pits under yellow (will at least work at bigger tracks).

This is maddening. Utter lunacy. The only memorable races in the trucks were the fuel economy races when Memecheck and Townley won. Fuck this. A teenager could run the sport better than this.

This is fuckin' retarded. What frickin' fan support of the Chase? God, the only thing to kill the Chase off is to have a winless driver become a champion in all three categories. Apparently sources say the caution clock idea was that of a Cup driver.

Also, Dave Moody said there was only 8 or 9 times the clock would have came into play last year and only 1 stretch of truck racing that lasted 30 mins. I figured it would have come into play more.... Still stupid though. Why have it then.

EDIT: I guess I heard it wrong. 9 times last year the trucks had a 30 min or longer green flag run.
