Even from a purely cultural standpoint it's obnoxious. They've chased down every bit of retarded, mainstream fuckery that there's really no identity of its own left.

From a competition standpoint, NASCAR was just so very different from other mainstream sports. That was part of the appeal, other than the obvious need for potential fans to actually have an interest in motorsport. In my opinion it was probably a big reason it grew so huge to begin with. That's all gone too.

I really need to get into iRacing. When my old computer went belly up a few years ago, I never got another one (wife has a laptop which we only use for school). Man I miss racing online....

Yeah, I'm afraid to get into iRacing. I'd be afraid of all the money I'd unintelligibly decide to spend buying stuff I need to progress, like tracks, cars, etc. I already have one racing game (Asphalt 8 ) that I'm spending way too much money on with add ons, I don't need a second one. Lol.

At least with Real Racing 3, I was able to download a debugging tool to give myself unlimited money and credits.

If I were them, I'd market the fuck out of Chase Elliot and Kyle Larson.

The longer Larson remains winless the less I see him as a poster guy. Even NASCAR can't manufacture such a stunt for someone who plain doesn't win races. He ain't Danica FFS
