Thanks SPEED for going straight to commercial when the flag drops. Greedy Fk's.

Amazing, they're so fucking incompetent. Get a fucking street sweeper to wash and clean the low groove! Come on! Using a jet dryer to blow shit around isn't gonna help. :8:

Yeah, this is painful to watch. ARCA is supposed to start at 1:30 with SPEED doing 'delayed live' coverage starting at 2:30... at this rate it may end up being truly live.

Also, NASCAR has basically acknowledged that Raines' run was screwed up by a dirty track but Riggs is up next. Does Raines not get to go again?

Also also, Sorenson went first, but they said he was locked in. I thought the S&P guys went in a group first before anyone locked in.

S&P used to go at the very end, but now the Q order is reverse order of 1st practice speeds.

No, the qualifying order is the reverse of the first practice time charts. So the S&P teams are sprinkled among the field. You'll just naturally see a lot of them going early because they aren't as quick.

I really hope Ralph Sheheen is in the booth on Sunday, I thoroughly enjoyed his commentary when they fired Webber in '09.

Some shit hit the wall head on during the pace laps before the start of the ARCA race. What a terribly uncompetitive field on paper.

6th place was 1.2 seconds off pole, 10th 2.6 off, Gerhart 22nd 5.1 off WTF

Yeah, there was a huge spread in the field in qualifying. For a TV race, I'm surprised they didn't get more cars. We had more at Salem and Toledo.

Not uncommon for ARCA at superspeedway with the large gaps in budget between teams.

Look at the 2:15 point.

I need to post the qualifying lineup from one of the 1986 ARCA races at Talladega. Pole speed around 200 mph, slowest speed was 154 mph. I wonder what that lap was like... There were several other cars down in that range in that particular race.

They put plates on the ARCA cars? The fuck?

So I guess if you had money you could just call up Venturini Motorsports to get a ride and be guaranteed a speedway win.

Hard crash for Gerhart!

Have to wonder about the camber in Swindell's car. Three left fronts in one race.

Just back from Pocono. Awesome day in the garage and pits, finally met Jeff Gordon and got his autograph along with Ragan, Kvapil, Blaney, Menard, Allmendinger, McDowell, and Edwards during qualifying. The ARCA race wasnt too spectacular but for the first time since 2010 it actually was run to length on the saturday I went so Im not complaining, and was standing right next to driver intros and victory lane. I was actually talking with Gerhart's PR guy whos a friend of mine after the race, the throttle stuck due to a part failure which led to the wreck. Its also worth mentioning that the 32 car wrecked on the pace laps because his steering wheel fell off.
Overall pretty damn good day.
