From what I've seen, the car that Harry is driving is the car that he won the 1991 Southern 500 in.

Sounds like lots of shit just went down regarding the MWR situation. Bowyer has a presser and basically said he didn't see this coming and has no plans for next year. Kaufman then came out and apparently threw everyone at MWR under the bus. He said the results at MWR didn't justify the budget. I'm not sure how much better the results at Ginassi will be.

The hot rumor on Jayski at the moment is Bowyer will drive for HScott Motorsports in 2016 and will replace Tony Stewart at SHR in 2017 with Tony retiring at the conclusion of the 2016 season.

I'd rather see Tony drive until Cole Custer is ready for Cup seeing Haas sponsors Cole. That would put Bowyer at what, 38 when he steps in? Bring in young blood.

Who knows how long Kurt will last there though, or Maybe Danica will finally be ousted.

What stops them from doing that in 3 years, once Danica's contract runs out, once Bowyer turns 40 and once Custer has 3 fulltime seasons in the top-3 divisions to be ready to take the ride?

I don't even see 1988 in that chart, which was Roush's first year in Cup (10 top 10s and 122 laps led).

Frankly I am shocked that the driver lineup of Greg Biffle, Trevor Bayne, and Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. has not produced better results.

Trevor Bayne: known for winning one big race and being bad at all the others. And being bitten by a tick.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr.: known for pulling one of the dirtiest racing moves of all-time and puttin something in Danica's butt.
Greg Biffle: known for looking like some species of lemur.

I really considered Biffle to be one of the best by 2005 when he was really wheelin it and winning a lot at places like old rough Darlington with that small spoiler. But he stuck with Roush so we'll never know.

Never forgave biffle for choking against kenseth on the last lap of the daytona 500. I don't care if he's you're teammate it's the biggest race of the season in front of you, you have to at least try.

So much so I still use "doing a biffle" for choking on the restrictor plate race threads

Given the obvious advantage the leader has had at plate tracks in the last few years (especially when the fastest car is at the front) I'm surprised people still believe he rolled over and took second in the biggest fucking race of the year.

Pulling out and at least showing his nose would've helped prove he was at least trying but he couldn't be bothered to do that.

When passing is difficult and draft-dependent, you don't dare stick your nose out unless you're really confident you've got a decent run.

Anheuser-Busch moving some sponsorship contracts around between their products. Looks like Busch will have more advertising in motorsports now.
